2023 Flooding – Storm Gerrit
2023 saw a prolonged wet autumn and winter, with no real named storms impacting the village until Storm Gerrit in December. This added to already high levels of standing and ground water, and even caused a new spring to appear (see videos). Water did run off from the Ashburn Croft area but the drains coped this time, thankfully.
