2023 Flooding – Storm Gerrit
2023 saw a prolonged wet autumn and winter, with no real named storms impacting the village until Storm Gerrit in December. This added to already high levels of standing water, and even caused a new spring to appear (see videos). Water did run off from the Ashburn Croft area but the drains coped this time, thankfully.
