Saturday Night Headliners

Sneaky Finch headline Greystoke Beer Festival 2024 on Saturday

Following their sell-out gig at Greystoke Beer Festival in 2022, Sneaky Finch are back to headline Saturday night in 2024!

Sneaky Finch are (as we well know in Greystoke!) Cumbria’s premier party-rock band! Get ready to rock with Cumbria’s top party trio, Sneaky Finch!  Formed in 2009, these school friends turned party legends have dominated the local pub scene and lit up events from weddings to festivals.  With a setlist that spans decades and a live show bursting with energy, Sneaky Finch promise an unforgettable night. Get ready to sing, dance, and rock out – audience participation isn’t just encouraged; it’s essential!  Don’t miss out – experience the hype and see why Sneaky Finch is the go-to band for a rocking good time!

Jamie, Steve and Ash first performed for us at Greystoke Beer Festival 2013, returning again in 2022 to a sell-out crowd. You know what to expect, Greystoke! It’s going to be a fabulous night – not to be missed!

Saturday Night Support Act!

John Anderson Acoustic

John Anderson Acoustic is a singer and acoustic guitarist from Sunderland with a powerful voice and engaging stage presence. He’ll be getting the Greystoke crowd dancing with the early set on Saturday evening. John played the beer festival for the first time last year and was a huge hit so we are delighted to welcome him back again this year. One review from last year said: “John Anderson was excellent” – and we agree!

John’s repertoire is filled with original takes on classic cover versions which combine everything from mellow and soulful ballads to stand-up and sing-a-long anthems. Everyone will find something that makes their foot tap or soul sing with John’s range of eclectic covers.

An experienced performer who regularly plays gigs across the North East and here in Cumbria, John’s crowd-pleasing sets feature songs by acts as diverse as The Beautiful South, The Eagles, Erasure, Dolly Parton, Take That, Queen, Del Amitri, Adele and Men at Work. Audiences can be sure of an evening filled with a range of rock and pop standards from across the decades, 80’s classics and even a TV theme tune or two for good measure.

With a huge range of songs to choose from, no two nights are ever the same meaning John’s performances are not to be missed!

Friday Night Headliners

Sparky and the Wailer headline Friday night

Greystoke Beer Festival are excited to announce that the Friday night headliners will be Sparky and the Wailer.

Cumbria’s answer to Tom Jones and Jools Holland, Sparky and the Wailer cover mainly blues but try to include some popular covers and singalong songs too. They must like beer festivals (I wonder why …) and you may have recently seen them open the Penrith Beer Festival this year!

Featuring Stephen Bailey (aka ‘the Wailer’) from Silloth on vocals, Sparky on the keyboards, and Ben the drummer both hail from Cockermouth and guitarists Phil Saunders lead and harmonica, and ????? on bass Hidden until confirmed

We’re sure Greystoke will be rocking away all Friday night to some great choons! Check out their highlights reel below!

Why not give them a follow on Facebook and if you’ve not got your Friday night tickets yet … What are you waiting for? It’s going to be a great night!

Friday Night Support Act!

It’s the Flookes!!!

Supporting Sparky and the Wailer on Friday night are local band The Flookes – our very own ‘village people’! We’re delighted to welcome them back to the Beer Festival.

Food by Sarah’s Yard

Sarah’s Yard  is once again providing the food for this year’s village beer festival.  Sarah, who has a Mediterranean Tapas Restaurant & Bar back home in Urmston, Manchester spends her leisure time here in the village and enjoys being part of the community and helping where she can with the pool and any festivities.

The Classic Gyros is this years food option which is definitely a staple street food in Greece.    This is perfect for festivals as it’s fresh, flavoursome and nutritious.

The Chicken or Lamb Gyros are served in authentic Greek flatbread with tomato, onion & cucumber with tzatziki, humous or garlic mayo served with fries or rice.  Vegan/Vegetarian option would be falafel. The gluten free option would be without bread.
