What is Alpha?
Alpha is a place to explore life, faith and meaning, an opportunity to explore the big questions of life. The sessions start with a hot meal, followed by a video, finishing with a discussion about what you think.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The sessions are designed to encourage conversation and explore Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to join in the conversation or just listen. If you’ve done Alpha before, why not invite a friend and maybe come with them.
What’s involved?
Alpha runs every Tuesday evening for nine weeks. Our next course starts 7pm Wednesday 20 January 2026 in Watermillock Village Hall. You don’t have to commit to the whole course, just come along for one session and see what you think.

Alpha is run by Greystoke Church and neighbouring churches

Alpha is free for everyone
