DESCRIPTION:St. Andrew’s is organising its annual Plant Sale in the Village Hall on Saturday 10 May from 9.30am to 2.00pm\, to raise funds for the church building. \nWe are planning to sell plants outside (weather permitting)\, and have\, in the hall\, a café and home produce stall selling bacon baps\, soup and rolls\, and scones\, a variety of cakes\, and tea and coffee\, all at reasonable prices. \nThere will also be a tombola and a books and jigsaws stall. \nWe are requesting donations of plants (flowers\, vegetables and tomatoes) and unwanted garden implements and equipment. Please contact Shirley to arrange collection\, bring to the village hall after 3.30pm on Friday 9 May\, or bring on the day. \nAll are welcome and\, if you are new to the village\, please come and join us for this village community event. The service concludes with Mulled Wine and Mince Pies.

DESCRIPTION:Interested in Spirituality? \nCurious about Faith? \nTry Alpha \n\nWhat is Alpha? \nAlpha is a place to explore life\, faith and meaning\, an opportunity to explore the big questions of life. The sessions start with a hot meal\, followed by a video\, finishing with a discussion about what you think. \nWho is Alpha for? \nAlpha is for anyone who’s curious. The sessions are designed to encourage conversation and explore Christian faith in a friendly\, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to join in the conversation or just listen. If you’ve done Alpha before\, why not invite a friend and maybe come with them. \nWhat’s involved? \nAlpha runs every Tuesday evening for nine weeks. Our next course starts 7pm Wednesday 20 January 2026 in Watermillock Village Hall.
