You’ll see we have a huge list of fantastic volunteers. If there is no telephone number, people can be found on Facebook, and contacted wither via Messenger or post a message on the Facebook Group. If you are not on Facebook and there is no phone number available, then please use our Contact Form or email with a contact phone number and we’ll pass your request on for you.

Remember, when interacting with others, especially those who are self isolating, act as if you already have Coronavirus. Make sure to follow the highest levels of hygiene, and strictly observe social distancing rules.

Important Safeguarding Information – Please Read and follow best practice
Steve Boyle, Parish Safeguarding Officer for St Andrews Church, wants to pass on the latest safeguarding advice from the Diocese. This is for everyone’s security and in no way is meant to undermine the amazing job everyone is doing.
If you are volunteer shopping :
1 – Best practice is if the volunteer shops and the person they are supporting pays them when the goods and receipt are delivered, either by cash or electronic transfer.
2 – It is recommended that if the volunteer receives cash before going shopping they are accompanied by another person who can confirm how much was received, and confirm that any change and receipts were handed over with the goods.
3 – Please try to AVOID being given cards and PIN numbers for purchase of goods or cash withdrawals. If this HAS to happen again you should have an accompanying person with you to verify the transactions, and then destroy any record of the PIN.
