The comfortable double bed sits high giving you lovely views across the fields and fells beyond, the kitchen area comes with all the utensils you need and additional heating is supplied with a separate heating system to keep you warm at night. This is very much a secluded log cabin designed with low power consumption in mind,  there is no WIFI but most Mobile phone networks receive good 4G/5G reception so you will be able to hotspot from your phone if you require internet access.

Outside you will find an outdoor bath, stone circle around a fire pit and on the cabin decking you can use the chairs and table to enjoy the beautiful views looking South to the Northern fells.

Beech House bed and breakfast is an interesting grade 2 listed property located in the charming village of Greystoke. Until recently Beech House formed part of Lattendales Country House.

The original house dates from the late 16th early 17th C with additions from Georgian and Victorian times. It was thought to have been by the family of Canon John Dowson who came to Greystoke following Henry VIII dissolution of Shap Abbay in 1540 and belonged to John Dowson in 1677. Now run as a friendly and informal bed and breakfast and small holding.

Additional Information:  Greystoke is situated about 5 miles west of the market town of Penrith, which has train station on the West Cost Mainline and also adjoins junction 40 of the M6. The village is conveniently located for access to the north Lake District. An exceptional Grade 1 listed fortified manor that has undergone extensive renovation bringing the two embattled peel towers back into use for the first time in more than 300 years. The discovery of Roman ruins, gold coins dating back to the reign of James I, numerous other artefacts and, reputedly, the oldest indoor toilets in Cumbria point to the historical interest of this property. Blencowe Hall sits on a bluff above the small river Peterill and is encompassed by its own fields incorporating access to the river across the road from Blencowe Hall.
